OUR KNOW HOW
The M'Khinini Paris approach is a balance between traditional know-how and modernity. It is born from a desire to create an everyday life accessory and the desire to perpetuate a dying and delicate art form that dates back to the seventeenth century. It is a tale that combines the nostalgia of a glorious past with the embodiment of life and light of the present. The vision of M'Khinini Paris is to create a new aesthetic.
ATTENTION TO DETAILS
OUR SPECIAL TOUCH
Craftsmanship
Each M’khinini handbag has a story, each having lived its own journey, creating new milestones and a new reality, from its inception to creation. On this journey, many artists have come on board, each contributing their specific touch, and with artisans adding their know-how and magic. Zeineb insisted on using traditional techniques to give these creations an authentic title of nobility. As a result, the process has been arduous. Many hours were spent in the workshop, trying and testing new ways to merge the traditional with the new and remaining faithful to the technique of porcelain marquetry attributed to the inimitable Jean Nicolas Rivart or the use of straw marquetry that dates back to the glorious age of the 17th century.
This required combining the skills of all the artisans and ensuring they worked in harmony. It also involved engineering ingenuity and precision. A delicate process merging many different skills.
